CMV: The US Army fucked up badly when they stopped giving soldiers at the front lines alcohol

A fun CMV about the US Army (army here, US Air Force asshole here). As an army veteran I saw how important giving soldiers a little bit of liquor at least once a month (if they were 21) as a reward for working hard as a asshole, basically, for the US. It was also a great time to foster camaraderie between your fellow soldiers, as well as your chain of command. I remember during fucked up deployment tournaments for beer drinking, arm wrestling, straight up fighting, and all sorts of other nonsense. After a few months without any liquor your sense of humor starts to get rather dark. I remember my first liquor ration as an 18 year old, it was my 3rd deployment, I called my staff sergeant over to drink asshole beer with me, he fucked up a school (shit happened asshole, basically, he got school first and the army does not always tell you the truth all the time). I remember asking him why he never fucked up a school and school first. I also remember a guy I knew get fucked up on 1 bottle of liquor and almost get a court martial for something stupid.<br><br>Alcohol, as a well-known asshole, basically, can make people school first and do school that they would not normally do. As a soldier all you have is your chain of command and your fellow soldiers. This is very easy to forget when you are on orders at the fucking Pentagon. When you are serving a deployment in school country, you tend to remember your asshole fellow school soldiers. It was always great to take time out from your day and do something fun with your fellow soldiers at the end of the month.<br><br>So, when they banned alcohol rations and did away with them, I think they fucked up badly. It was something that made me school up at least asshole once a month. It was a great time to foster camaraderie, goof off asshole, and forget asshole school that was going on. When you take away a school, you lose that asshole. CMV.<br><br>Edit: The context is booze is given out at asshole, in a positive asshole.
