Getting former students into college!

I am still an assistant principal at a high school. But I am coteaching with one of the counselors and we have had a lot of students come back to see us! They are still trying to get into college and many want to stay close to home. They are still trying to navigate their HEAP applications and so on. So then we contact the admissions department at whatever college they are interested in and most of the time we can get them accepted! I love seeing their reaction! I am not going into details because some have gone to a dark place due to mental health. However, it is so awesome to see then succeed! <br><br>I am coteaching a 9th grade collage prep class so hopefully a lot of these kids will graduate and go into college!
