I recently read some things about Democratic Socialism, and it seems to just be a form of Capitalism.

In this system, the State owns the means of production, and soley distributes goods and services. It seems like the State is just a corporation like any other, the only difference being there is no "board of directors" because all the "people" manage it.

I am not a very informed person, but I have not come across this as a critique in my research of Democratic Socialism.

What are your thoughts on this?
