Gun control? Or criminal control?

I've been carrying a concealed 9mm handgun on me in my house for 8 months now since I've had a concealed weapon permit. And I've never been convicted of a crime. But, I'd be labeled a "gun nut" since I have several firearms in my house and i know how to shoot all of them. But that's ok, I'd rather be labeled a gun nut and shoot a criminal than be a, "look what that asshole did" victim. We all know that guns kill people and that people kill people. But what people don't talk about is criminals kill people. That's what we really need to watch out for. I can't help but think that if the Las Vegas shooter had known that if half of the people at the concert he shot at were also carrying guns then he probably wouldn't have shot at them. I also think that if he was shot in the first 30 seconds of him shooting then he wouldn't have shot as many people.
