What would a world look like if the only available naturally occurring materials were trees and stone for some reason?

The only two types of natural materials available for construction, crafting, etc on your world are trees and stones.<br><br>How could it look like? Would it be like some kind of forest moon of endor on a planetary scale, with thousands of different types of trees?<br><br>How would people live there naturally, what tools would they develop, what kind of societies would they form? Would they even develop naturally or just be wiped out by the first stone age meteor?<br><br>How would you as a leader of a country on this world approach the climate change for example?<br><br>What kind of animals could thrive there?<br><br>What possibilities for energy sources could be available besides wood burning?<br><br>What would the religion look like? How would they think of the (in this case literally) holy trees?<br><br>How long would it take for people to develop plastic or something similar?<br><br>Would it be possible to make anything out of stone and wood besides axes and knives?
