Ketamine nasal spray (Spravato) greatly reduced my alcohol consumption

I started Spravato in November 2023. No changes in my anti-depressants or other meds. I have been sober for a week now and it is very noticeable. <br><br>I am in my 40's and I'm an alcoholic. I usually drink around 6-12 beers/day and have been like this for over a decade. I've tried several times to stop but can't seem to get past the second day. <br><br>I've been on Spravato for a few months but the last few weeks something has changed. I don't crave alcohol, I don't think about it. It has been over a week now and I've only had a few beers, which is a miracle for me. I still smoke weed now and then but the alcohol is shot. I'm planning on quitting weed now too. <br><br>Anyways, this is my story. I'll update if I relapse.
