This is a message to all the people who lurk on this sub but don't quite get why we act how we do.<br><br>I'm sure you've heard it before, but incels are people who have never had romantic success. Not necessarily virgins, but people who are entirely unable to date, kiss, have sex or even hold hands.<br><br>For those who are lucky, you have the luxury of having the choice to avoid sex, avoid dates, avoid kissing, avoid human contact. Some of you might avoid this because you've had bad experiences, some of you avoid it because you just don't want to do it.<br><br>Imagine if you didn't have that choice. Imagine if you couldn't avoid it because nobody ever wanted to give you the option of doing that in the first place. Not only does that mean you're a virgin, but it also means you have nobody to turn to, nobody to hug, nobody to hold hands with, nobody even to talk to. <br><br>The one true thing that unifies incels is that we don't have a choice in being alone. We cannot avoid being lonely because we don't have the opportunity to participate in any of the things that make you socially complete. You have the luxury of participating in all that, whether you choose to or not. We don't.<br><br>I shouldn't need to explain why being lonely for our entire lives is bad. We're angry because we are angry that we are going to be alone forever. We're angry because we're jealous that we can't be like you, with a choice. We're angry because we can't do anything about it.<br><br>We're angry because we've lost something we never had, because something we never had was taken from us.
