We shouldn't mock them, we should pity them

They're people who'll never grow up, who can't let go of a life where they were in control. They'll always be children, they'll always have that wretched, obnoxious sense of entitlement that they can do anything.

And they'll never have to let go of it. No one will ever tell them to stop.

Because they're adults. They're allowed to be children, and no one can stop them. It's their life, they can do what they want with it.

They'll never be called out on their delusions of being special, because they think they are.

So we shouldn't mock them. We shouldn't bully them. We shouldn't shame them.

We should pity them. We should feel sorry for them, because they're not happy. They'll never be fulfilled, they'll never grow up.

That's a sad thing.

And we should pity them, because they'll still be children when we're old and grey. They'll still talk like they're five, still dress up in the outfits from cartoons. They'll still believe they're special.

And we'll be adults.

In thirty years, we'll still be people, and they'll still be children.

And that's something to pity.
