You can’t say you support and believe victims of sexual abuse if you also believe that men can’t be victims

I just watched an interview with Nathan Fielder in which he talked to a far right anti-LGBTQ+ conservative woman who claimed she had been raped, and genuinely told her that she deserved it for being a woman. I’m not here to dump on this lady, I’m sure she gets enough hate from people.
I think it perfectly demonstrates the attitude that some people have that sexuality is more important than actively being a victim of sexual abuse.
I’m sorry if that makes you uncomfortable, but if you claim to be an ally and a supporter for victims and take a political stance in that you believe that men can’t be victims, you’re a hypocrite, and your political stance doesn’t come from a place of empathy and care for victims, but contempt and disdain.
