Discussion Thread: Is our writing getting worse?

I noticed lately that submissions on this chamber are getting noticeably worse. For me personally, I worry that the quality of writing on this sub is going down.<br><br>1. I think there are two main factors that contribute to this. The first factor is that more than 10 years have passed since Chambers started to grow. So I think users from the early days of Chambers are not very active on the platform, and nowadays fewer classic writers spend time on this platform.<br>2. Instead, I think the second factor (and the main factor) is the rise of AI. There is no way to weed out AI on this sub, and I think it's because of this that more users are choosing that path. <br><br>I also don't think paid memberships help. It's very easy for someone to pay a membership to gain access to Chambers, make an account, make a one-minute spambot post, make some comments, and then continue their swindle. <br><br>I would also like to hear your thoughts.
