Masseuse was suddenly very quiet when she realized I was a man.

So today I went to get a massage to help with some back pain and the only place that had an opening was a local Asian woman doing massage out of her home. She was surprisingly very good for being a random person and her prices were very cheap. It was overall a good experience and a place I will probably go back to.<br><br>I was sitting on the table getting changed into the massage table cloth and suddenly heard her voice from the other room suddenly very quiet. She sounded like she was talking to someone and she suddenly stopped talking. I thought maybe she was on the phone but when she came in suddenly she wasn’t. I thought maybe she was talking to her husband but I didn’t hear the other voice and there was no one else in the home. <br><br>Midway through the massage she said something to her daughter in their native language. When the daughter responded you suddenly heard the daughter say “Oh!” louder than the rest of the conversation. My guess is that mom thought I was a woman and was discussing with her daughter the best way to give a massage and when the daughter realized I was a guy she was surprised.<br><br>It’s not uncommon for women to underestimate the size of my muscles or mistake my voice for being a girls. But it still cracks me up when I get to see their reaction.
