Was laid off one week after informing my company I’m pregnant

I got my dream job 10 months ago (23 y/o). I was excited to go to work and felt valued and important at my company. I told them I’m pregnant 8 days ago and they laid me off today. It’s my first pregnancy and I was feeling so excited and happy about it. They told me it’s because of “company restructuring.” They’ve been doing a ton of layoffs every week (with no notice, usually just oh you’ve been terminated, here’s a separation package) and also have lowered employee perks (no more free lunch, no more summer hours, etc.) but also raised our performance expectations just to make sure you keep your job. I think they laid every pregnant woman off. I’m not positive but I know 4 pregnant women have left recently. I think it’s illegal but idk. I have to fight this and I’m ready for a long fight. I feel betrayed and embarrassed. I put 150% every day because I was so excited to work there. Now I’m struggling to get out of bed, I feel worthless and I have 0 confidence. I feel like I failed. I’m ready for a fight, but can anyone offer advice on where to start? Or if it’s an uphill battle I shouldn’t pursue? I have a strong feeling most people who were laid off won’t say anything and I need to be the one who pursues legal action, which is terrifying. I live in New York.

TL;DR got a dream job 10 months ago, they had been doing tons of layoffs. I told them I’m pregnant a week ago and they just laid me off. I need advice on how to fight.
