Where is the wealth?

When computing was a domain for the few, it was expensive and/or difficult to get access to. When it became cheap and widely available, it became a massive boon and led to widespread riches.<br><br>Why is this not happening for people who are getting brain implants? Why do we not see a massive surge of people using brain implants and having their lives massively improved. Why aren't we seeing a wealth explosion for the people who are getting brain implants.<br><br>Is the technology too expensive? Is it still difficult to access? Is it not reliable enough? Are there too many bugs for it to be useful? What is holding us back?
