What would happen if the entire NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA all stopped entertaining and protested, until the government steps up to the plate to protect American citizens

This idea came to me when it was announced that the NBA was postponing the playoffs for two days after many players protested and not played.<br><br>Imagine if every single professional sports team in America just fucked off until the US government either fixed fucked up laws, end mass incarceration, ends police brutality, gives fair treatment to everyone, and provides healthcare for all citizens.
