AITA for pretending to get fired over a sexual harassment workshop

I have a high up job in a company that specialises in video game development. I’m female and I love my job. It’s a great company and the pay is very good. The people I work with are great too, except it is very male dominated. Sometimes female employees will complain about inappropriate comments or inappropriate looks that they get. I have called them out on this before but I was ignored. I knew that this had to stop and had to happen in a big way. I couldn’t just walk in off the bat one day and just get them to stop so I was clever about it. I made up a sexual harassment training workshop and said we needed to have it for all employees. I said if anyone was to skip it then that means they’re fired.

There was many complaints from the guys but I meant it when I said we were going to have it. I made sure that all employees were there and the training began. It was very educational and the guys were very quiet throughout the whole thing. They looked embarrassed and ashamed. After it ended all of the guys came up to me and kept apologising for their behaviour in the past and said they will stop from now on. I told them that it’s all in the past and to just make sure it never happens again.

Well after that of course all of the women were happy and appreciated me for doing something about it. The guys on the other hand kept telling me I had no right to threaten their jobs. I argued back that if they didn’t sexually harass their coworkers then they have nothing to worry about. They still complain to this day about how I made them feel like monsters and that they were humiliated. I don’t see what the problem is. I just don’t want my employees to feel violated at work. I feel like I did the right thing.
