Do people realize how much creepier it is to message someone directly than to message them on a dating app?

I’ve had some guys message me on instagram asking me out and it always gives me weird vibes. I feel it’s very creepy just to cold message anyone you don’t know on anything other than a dating app. I’d be interested to hear from guys how they would feel if the roles were reversed.<br><br>EDIT: I get that tinder isn’t a great example. I didn’t even google other apps, just went off what I know. I know it’s not all tinder. I meant online dating apps in total. I know I didn’t say that but I’m just realizing that right now, unfortunately.
