I (35m) and my bf (25m) have been together for 11 months. He wants to break up with me because I don't like oral.

We've been together for 11 months, we're in a long distance relationship and we make video calls every night. Last night my bf (25m) was clearly upset; he asked me why we haven't had oral sex since we met, I told him "Honestly, I don't enjoy oral, it makes me uncomfortable". My bf got quiet after I said that and had a stunned look; he said "Are you kidding, are you serious? After 11 months you tell me you don't enjoy oral? You don't like receiving oral or giving?". I told him I don't like giving or receiving, he got more upset and said "Listen, at my age, I want to enjoy life, I want to try new things and have fun, I want to have sex, try different positions, try oral and I thought that after a year of being together, we would have tried everything by now, but clearly that didn't happen because you don't like oral, so I think it would be better if we went our own separate ways, I'm sorry". I was stunned, I asked him if he was breaking up with me because I don't like oral, he said "Yes, I'm sorry, maybe we just want different things". I asked him to think about it for a couple of days, he said "No, my mind is made up". I'm disappointed, I didn't expect my bf to break up with me for something like this, I thought our relationship was stronger than that.
