How do I make an easy/healthy dish with bell peppers?

I've recently started cooking for myself I want to make a dish that uses bell peppers. I am an inexperienced cook, I have never cooked bell peppers before. I want to make something easy, healthy, and it shouldn't cost much. I need your help: What is the best way to prepare bell peppers for cooking? What's the simplest way to include them in a dish that has some protein and carbs in it, too? Please help me with some recipe ideas. I'm a real beginner, I can't afford to mess up if I want to make it through the month. I'll just have a minor depression if I ruin my food.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>So far I have:<br><br>* 2 bell peppers<br>* 1 can of black beans<br>* Bread<br>* Broth<br>* 1 onion<br>* 1 garlic clove<br>* 1 bag of chips<br>* 1 bag of carrots<br>* 1 bottle of lemon pickle brine<br>* 1 bag of spinach<br>* 1 cup of macaroni<br>* Cheese (melted/mozzarella/shaved)<br><br>I can go to the store and pick up any ingredients you think will make my meal better.
