What is it like to be a woman?

Women dont have an answer to this question. If you ask them what it is like, they will simply say you cant know. With no elaboration.

Everything about the female gender is shrouded in mystery. Women dont talk about being women. They simply live their lives as women.

If you want to know what it is like to *not* be a woman youd have to ask a man. Men will eagerly elaborate on the struggles of being a man.

Why is this? Why do women not think about their gender as much as men? Why do women not complain about being women? Why does no one care what its like to be a woman?

Edit: by no one i mean society at large, not necessarily this subreddit.

Edit2: by no elaboration i mean the average womans answer to "what is it like to be a woman?" is something like "you cant know what its like to be a woman." And thats it. Nothing else. Nothing about the intricacies of womanhood from a womans perspective. The question is often met with "youll never know so why ask?"

What it is like to be a man is a bit more complicated to explain, but the average man will at least try.
