The school teaching style of anime has been overused

Let’s be honest, a lot of anime is either set in school or has a lot of importance placed on school. I feel like this has been overused to the point where it’s boring. I can understand why it’s used, for example it makes it easy to create a story with this system. I also know that anime is based in Japan, where there are a lot of schools. However I still feel like it’s overused and a lot of the anime that uses this setting is very similar. A lot of these anime seems to use school just to create a setting for a bunch of characters. Can we move away from this trope?
