My friend was at the Capitol building on Jan 6, 2021

I have a friend who flew to DC with some friends to attend a speech at the Ellipse. He didn't go into the Capitol building; he was in the crowd outside for an hour. <br><br>However, he had his phone out and took a selfie and that put him on the FBI's list of potential suspects. <br><br>I'm not sure yet what that means, but he's supposed to go to an interview at the local FBI office and answer some questions. They also want his phone records and social media info. <br><br>He's not worried at all about it, but I don't get it. He's 100% MAGA and pro-Trump. He genuinely thinks the election was stolen and the Capitol building should have been torched to the ground. <br><br>I don't know where I stand on this topic, but what really bothers me is that here we have a right-winger who was 100% on the conservative side of the line... and he's being treated like a terrorist. <br><br>I'm just not sure what to think of this at all.
