Want to make your wife feel like a luxury? Treat her like one.

Last night my wife texted me from work saying she was going to have a long day and she’d more than likely be home late. When I saw her text I shopped for and cooked her favorite meal, made her favorite dessert and set up some 6 pillar candles in the dining room and put fresh flowers out. <br><br>When she got home she said it smelled good in the house. I said yeah I made you dinner. She walked into the dining room and her eyes lit up. It was so satisfying watching her eyes light up that it made me feel good. We sat down and ate dinner together. She finished and said that she felt like she was at a 5 star restaurant. Then she went and changed into something more comfortable and I lit 5 more candles in the living room and lit a fire. She was blown away. She said she felt like she was at a ski resort. She was so appreciative and thankful. She sat on the floor Indian style with her feet next to the fireplace with her hand in mine. We talked about our day and she complimented me on the meal and said it was delicious. She was so much happier and more relaxed that she started cracking jokes. We talked for a while and then I suggested I run her a warm bubble bath and she said yes please. I filled her bath up with warm water and added some bubble bath to it. She got in and said it felt so good. I asked if she wanted a glass of wine and she said yes. So I brought her a glass of wine and I got in the tub with her. We talked a little more and then I washed her hair and her body and we got out. <br><br>She said she felt like a queen. She was so appreciative. She asked what made me think to do all of this and I said I could tell you were stressed and I wanted to make you feel better and I wanted to make you feel like a queen. She said that she felt like a queen. She said she never felt this way before. She was so thankful. She thanked me a million times it felt good to see her so happy. It feels good to treat my wife like a queen because she deserves it.<br><br>Edit to add: Yes I’m also thankful for her. She’s a great wife. She works hard 5 days a week and takes care of our house. She’s my best friend, my rock and my soulmate. I’m very lucky to have her in my life. I appreciate her very much. And yes I also expect her to treat me like a king.
