Hey guys, I'm from the Philippines and I just recently got accepted into a university in Japan for my masters degree and I'm planning to go there this September. I have a lot of questions in my head and hopefully you guys can help me out.

I want to work in Japan after getting my degree, what are my chances? I know that I don't speak Japanese fluently yet, but I'm planning to learn and hopefully get a job by the time I graduate. I know that it's easier for us Asians to get a job in Japan compared to white foreigners, but I still want to hear your thoughts.

Also, does the university I go into play a big role in getting a job or getting a good job in Japan? Or it's based on other things.

Thank you very much for your time and help.
