I’m ready to make my next breeding. (I’m breeding tortoises right now) and all of these birds have my attention. I want a full flock of active birds that can sit and sing to me on my shoulder like a parrot or something. I’m willing to build a large aviary or do flighted pairs or even a few trios. I just need to figure out what bird will fit me best.

1) Six Spotted Bronze Winged Turacos
These birds are soooo beautiful. Bronze with black and red with blue around the eyes with colored crests and long tails. I don’t like the noise they make and I hear they’re hard to breed, which is why it’s low on the list. However, with colored crests, blue eyes, and long tails. They’re just so beautiful

2) Green Turacos
Same as the bronze wing. But not as much bronze, and the same colored crests around the eyes. I hear there’s a few species of them colored differently too like the Livingstone’s and the purple crested and I always wonder if you can cross breed them and get the colors to mix because with colored crests, blue eyes, and long tails. They’re just so beautiful. I hear the Livingstone’s are easier to breed than the Bronze Wing with colored crests around the eyes. I don’t like the noise they make and I’m not sure if they’re hard to breed or not. But I just like the look of them mixing colors.

3) Golden Pompadour Cotinga
These birds are so beautiful. They’re bright yellow with Pompadour crests on top of their heads and along the neck. If I see them in person I’ll probably just buy 10 of them lmao. I don’t like the noise they make and I hear they’re hard to breed and require live food to be happy and healthy. They have big appetites too so I’d have to build a big aviary for them to thrive and a big enclosure for the crickets and mealworms. It’s a lot but again, the crests on them, the bright yellow, I just can’t get enough of how they look. I hear they’re very social birds too with colored crests. And a lot of the times, birds with crests you’ll catch them sitting on you, with the crest sitting on top of your head.

4) Long Wattle Umbrellabird
I think these birds are the most beautiful birds I’ve ever seen. I hear they’re hard to breed and they require live food to thrive. They’re bright black with the shiniest blue around their necks with long colored wattle down from the beak. They’re also called umbrellabirds because of the crest on top of their head that resembles an umbrella. Again, I hear the noise they make is very very loud, but they’re just so beautiful and when they come sit on your head, the umbrella sits on top of your head too which is just so fucking cool. I hear they’re very social and a lot of owners say their birds will sit with them when they watch tv or lay in bed with them. And a lot of the times, the birds will sit on their heads and you’ll look over and see the umbrella sitting next to their face. They’re very social birds. And they’re always on the move, flying around, jumping from branch to branch. They’re just so cool with colored crests and umbrellas on their heads, shiny blue around the neck with long wattles dangling. They’re just so cool looking.

5) Red Crested Turaco
Same as the Bronze Wing but with more red with blue around their eyes and long tails. They don’t have colored crests on top of their heads but they still look so cool with long tails and the blue around the eyes. I hear they’re much easier to breed than the Bronze Wing and make much less noise too. I just love Turacos a lot because of the blue around the eyes and I hear they’re much more social than Cotingas and Umbrellabirds. I can have 10 birds sitting around me with Turacos but I hear the Cotingas and Umbrellabirds will have only one favorite and if you have 10 birds, they’ll all just fight each other and one will be your favorite. I hear the Cotingas and Umbrellabirds are very mean to each other and the Turacos are very social to each other. I just love the Turacos a lot with their long tails and blue eyes with colored crests. They’re just so beautiful.

6) Umbrellabirds (The Black one)
Same as the Long Wattled. But without the wattle and less blue. They’re just black with colored crests on top of their heads. They’re much prettier than the Cotinga to me because of the umbrellas on their colored crests, sitting on your head. Turacos have colored crests too but they don’t always sit on their crests on your head like the Umbrellabirds. With the Cotingas, it’s hard to get them to sit with you and sit on your head with the crests. But the Umbrellabirds and Turacos are more social with their crests sitting on your head. I hear the colored crests on the Umbrellabirds are much more pretty and vibrant than the Turacos. But the Turacos have long tails and much prettier eyes than the Umbrellabirds. I hear the Umbrellabirds require live food and they’re loud and hard to breed but they’re so fucking beautiful with umbrellas sitting on their heads. And I hear they’re very happy birds. And watching them fly and move around is very cool too, with the umbrella sitting on their heads. They’re just so fucking cool and I can’t get enough of the umbrellas on their heads.

7) Vulturine Guineafowl
Not the regular helmeted, but the vulture faced ones that look like vultures. I hear these birds are very social and can be domesticated. Their faces are so fucking cool looking. And I hear they’re very easy to breed and they’re quiet and not very mean to each other. I hear a trio will not argue with each other and they’re very social and will sit with you without any problems. And you’ll have 3 birds sitting with you which is very cool. I hear they’re very easy to take care of and don’t require live food. They’re just so fucking cool looking with vulture like faces and I hear they’re very social. I just love how their faces look, they look like they have a beak over their beak with red eyes. They’re just so fucking cool.

8) Horned Guineafowl
These birds are very fucking cool too. They have casques on top of their heads which look like colored crests. But they’re not feathers, they’re hard colored bone on top of their heads. They have some of the most beautiful colors with colored crests on top of their heads and shiny blue and green around their necks. They’re super colored birds and I hear they’re very easy to breed. They’re social birds too but they do fight with each other a lot. I hear trios are very hard to keep with them because the males fight a lot. But I hear pairs are very easy to keep. And you can have 2 pairs if you have a big aviary. 4 birds is a good amount. I hear they’re hard to tame and they don’t like people. But the colors on them are very fucking beautiful, with colored crests and shiny necks.

9) Passerine Cotinga
These birds are fucking cool. I hear they’re very fucking hard to breed and hard to keep alive. But they’re so fucking cool. They have colored crests on top of their heads with a bunch of long colored feathers dangling all around them. And they have long tails too. They’re fucking beautiful. I hear it’s very hard to care for them and they don’t live long lives. But they’re so fucking beautiful it might be worth building a big aviary to keep them happy and healthy. They’re hard to keep in an aviary though because they fly up and down a lot and they get bad wind resistance and it hurts their wings. It’s very hard to keep an aviary big enough to let them fly with bad wind resistance. But they’re so fucking beautiful with the long feathers and crests, and their songs are very pretty too. I hear they’re very hard to keep with colored crests but watching them fly around is fucking beautiful with all the feathers and crests with colored crests, blue eyes, and long tails. They’re just fucking beautiful.

10) Spangled Cotinga
I hear the Pompadour and Passerine are the most beautiful Cotingas. But the Spangled look so fucking cool too. They have almost the same Pompadour crests on top of their heads but instead of being yellow, they’re black and white with a bunch of long colored feathers around them. They’re fucking beautiful. I hear they’re very hard to care for and don’t live long lives. But the black and white with long feathers and crests and long tails with colored crests is fucking beautiful with colored crests. They’re fucking hard to take care of and require live food but they’re so fucking cool with long feathers and crests on colored crests.

Which bird do you think I should go with?
