In-app Feedback via Video Recording

You know when you're using an app and they ask for your feedback and all of a sudden you have a hundred things you want to say to them .... but then you get to the comments box and .... ta da! .. only 500 characters are allowed. Frustrating.<br><br>Everyday, .... thousands of people click on one of those surveys and have a ton of things to say but give up when they can't record their thoughts.<br><br>What if .... every time an app developer wants feedback from their user,.... they simply say "can you tell us.... why you .... The video is sent to a server and then returned to the user to watch and edit, .... to then be reviewed by inhouse app developers or 3rd parties that specialize in app feedback.<br><br>The idea is to get the most honest feedback you've ever gotten for your app.... to know .... not just the what, but the why behind every decision. While giving.... the user a chance .... not just to speak freely to the app developers,.... but to actually see .... and hear themselves -- which can be very valuable in unexpected ways.<br><br>This type of feedback will revolutionize the app development process because it also makes the app developer aware of the .... why behind their own decisions..... (why they created the app, why they included this -- and not that feature, why they had this hierarchy of functions, why they .... not why they didn't do this -- which can also be useful.... why they priced it this way, why they updated it .... or didn't update it this way.... etc etc .. )<br><br>This type of -- video -- feedback will also make the app developer aware of valuable intangibles not usually accessed in traditional app development -- such as passion, creativity, purpose, sense of self and fulfillment, gratitude, and meaning. <br><br>The .... why... behind -- which feature is.... most fun for the user..... <br><br>The .... why...... behind which feature is.... the most frustrating to the user. <br><br> .... not just the what, or the how -- which is important.... but the why behind the what and the how. (Not that the why is .... more important, just that the why is sometimes more valuable than the what or the how). .... not just the app -- but the why behind the app. <br><br>Invaluable feedback.
