YouTube (and the Internet as a whole) was much better when people were creating content as a hobby instead of a "job"

Everyone says "Oh you can tell when a creator loves what they do", but I feel that's severely understated. It's goddamned night and day in most cases.<br><br>The quality and heart and soul people put into content they made because it was what they loved doing for 2-3 years before it blew up and they started making money is completely gone when they start to view it as a full time job.<br><br>There are plenty of exceptions of course. But the majority of content since the mid 2010's has been absolute shit.
