So I'm a adult now, 22 years young. I'm a lower middle class who has been struggling. I'm always fighting to survive. I don't want to be stuck into the system striving to survive. I'm tired and desperate. I want a better life for myself, I have a trade but I'm struggling to make a living wage after I graduate. I went to trade school to be an HVAC and I work for a company for about 4 months. The pay is only 15 an hour and I have to pay rent, food, gas, car payment, car insurance, and other necessities. I'm barely making 2,800 a month and paying 1,700 in bills. This is becoming a hopeless dream to be able to live a middle class life. If I had debts, I would be considered poor. Rent is too expensive, car insurance is expensive. I can't save money, I'm barely scraping by to pay bills. I feel defeated and hopeless. If this is what the American dream is and is what the middle class is supposed to feel like, I'm not sure if I can keep going. I'm tired of living paycheck to paycheck. It's all I know. I don't need much. I just want to be able to afford the necessities of life and save money without having to worry about not having to pay bills. Does anyone else feel like this? It's not suppose to be this hard. If you are trying to be middle class, screw yourself if you're not rich. Does anyone else feel defeated?

Edit: I make 33,000 a year with a trade. Minimum wage is $7.25 and is the bare minimum. Why is rent so high and can't afford to live?

Edit2: I'm a computer science major now. It will be a grind but it will be worth it.
