A shieldman, a spearman, an archer, a mage, a swordswoman, and a ninja walk into a bar. The bartender looks up, sees them, and screams, “THE HERO IS HERE! EVERYBODY OUT!”<br><br>They panic and stampede for the exit, except the ninja. He draws his sword and assumes a guard position. The patrons are about to trample him when he yells, “I’M THE DARK LORD! YOU FOOLS!” The patrons stop dead, turn around at the door, and charge the ninja. <br><br>The patrons knock the ninja out the door and down the stairs. They throw him into the street and kick him into the nearest alley, where he crashes into a dumpster. <br><br>Bruised and groggy, the ninja weakly calls out, “This... isn’t... how it’s supposed to go...”<br><br>And then he hears footsteps echoing off the walls. The ninja draws his sword and assumes a guard position, ready to take on whatever horrors are coming his way. <br><br>Who or what is at the head of the mob? What kind of world are they in? How does this turn out for the ninja, and what does it mean in the grand scheme?
