I am a guy who is generally against echo chambers and pages that seem to just tear others down.
However, I think I understand the importance of this page, and I'm glad it exists.
After reading a few threads, it seems like a lot of the women here have been victimized in many ways, and the only place they feel comfortable opening up about their experiences is here, with others who have had similar experiences, and will be sympathetic and not judgmental towards them. It seems that some of them can't even open up to their closest friends about these issues.

From what I've seen so far, the majority of people here don't seem to actually hate men, but rather the system that allows us to victimize them, and the culture that allows men to think it's okay. So I don't think this page is about spreading hate of men. I think it's about allowing women to be open about their experiences without worrying about the back lash.

And I think that's important, because it seems like a lot of women here have been through traumatic experiences, and need to vent about them without the back lash.

Edit: I'm not trying to talk through anyone else's experience for them. I know full well that I can't relate, but I want to be an ally. I want to understand and support.

Also, I understand that this is a private space, so I won't ask for specific examples, but I would really like to learn more. I want to hear more about your experiences, and I want to help support you in whatever way I can. Do you have any suggestions on how I can do that?
