Was that really "a" theft or was that "intermittent is shoplifting" in this case?

Pretty sure I was taken away by security and charged for one crime. How should feel about this? I once was away for 10 days after the arrest. What type of punishment do you think I could face? I want to reduce all the stress I can from this.
