Why do people take their height so seriously?

Why are people so serious about their height? they are blaming their parents for being short, they are blaming the society for bullying them, they are blaming the world for everything. It’s your choice whether you want to date someone or not because you can’t decide other people’s height or physical look. It’s out of your control.
