Is there a difference between the MGTOW on the internet and those in real life?

This might seem like a question that is hard to answer because of the definition of MGTOW but I’m just asking in general. I’ve read in articles and heard people talk that the majority of MGTOW are just men who have no job, get beat up a lot, live in their parents basement and are virgins. On the other hand there are the MGTOW who have been awakened to the reality of modern relationships, know the risks of divorce, the importance of living your life, the importance of keeping your unique hobbies, to make sure you’re set in life before you try to pursue a relationship and basically have a mindset of self-confidence and self-awareness. So, what do you guys think?
