I'm not sure I would be doing this sub justice if I modded it.

So I think I'm going to have to pass on the position.

My goal is to keep this sub as chill and laid back as possible, as sort of an inverse of the over-the-top, overly-moderated nature of r/AIscared and r/AskAI.

But I really think that what this sub needs is to be more active.

The goal is to get a bit more content flowing in here, and for me to interact with as many people as possible and engage as much as possible. I would love to make more content and be more active, but it's just really hard when I feel like I'm talking to myself somewhat.

And to be honest, I don't want to be "in charge" of anything. I'm just a dude with a passion for computers and technology, who feels strongly that we as a society have made an incredibly large mistake rushing into large language model AI so quickly, and that it's going to have huge consequences in the future. I'm not a very tech-savvy person, my knowledge of AI is limited to my own experiences and investigations, and I'm sometimes not as articulate as I would like to be.

I would like to hear your thoughts. If there's anything that you think would help me to become more engaged, please let me know.
