Living in a RV in 50s

What do you think about living in a RV around age 50-60? We have 2 kids and they will be done with high school by 55. We are currently living in an apartment and I’m so sick of paying rent and expenses. If I lived in a RV, I can travel as much as I like and do all the things I’ve always wanted to do. Maybe living in an RV will give us more opportunities to explore the world. It’s currently getting in the 40s here and I kind of miss the warm weather, so what if we lived in a warm place all year round? I know climate is changing and RV living doesn’t seem climate friendly, but I’m just dreaming.
