What helps you learn a language faster/faster than anything else?

I have tried to many resources (pimsleur, duolingo, apps, language schools, language learning books etc) and i have to say there are so many people giving advice on what resources to use but in reality it's all about one thing, the right approach and mindset. Once in a while you will meet someone who knows more than 4 languages and they will tell you that it all comes down to a simple approach.
