What is the next step after Duolingo?

A friend of mine is moving to Vietnam and is using Duolingo to learn Vietnamese to prepare. <br><br>He’s got 60 day, 90 day, 100 day streaks, and Duolingo has told him he speaks Vietnamese at an “A2” level.<br><br>What would be the next step for him?<br><br>(Same question applies for anyone learning any language with Duolingo)<br><br>He’s been using Google Translate to translate Vietnamese to English all this time so I imagine he can start looking up English translations less and less.
