To Everyone That Keeps Saying "4chan is Dead" Every 2 Years:

You are the reason that 4chan is often considered dead. I have been here since halfway through Obama's first term and I have seen 4chan grow and change. I remember when /p/ was still active and actually helped people (To my surprise), I remember when /qa/ was still actually good for asking questions, I remember when /poc/ still had it's original ruleset and when /pol/ first came out (RIP /new/).

I have seen it grow and change and that is okay. What is not okay is that people that just joined recently will start saying that 4chan is dead and often blame it on the previous administration. That it is overregulated and that it's sucking the fun out of it. I have seen the amount of niggers and faggots decrease, I have seen the amount of shill threads decrease and I remember when the old /pol/ spam bumper stickers were the norm and the alt-right was still small. These people would spam everywhere and bump the shit out of their threads with spam bumper stickers just to get their shitty threads on the front pages.

I have seen spam decrease and I have seen quality increase. If you want to see yourself as Edgelord with a real group of " Bro's" go join the donut shop and be with the feds. I also see tons of "anons" complaining about /pol/ and how it's taking over /qa/ and the other boards with spam. These people should really read the rules. Just report and ignore. /pol/ is not breaking any rules by bumping on other boards and posting political threads. If you don't like it ignore and report it and that is the end of it. If you want to help just do your part.

It is not the real anons that are killing 4chan. It's the faggots that spam bumper stickers and bring all of the normies. However the real problems is when these people join and complain that it's overregulated when there is still over 100 spam threads bumper stickers and they want to cry about it. I'm truly sorry that you missed the golden years but that's not an excuse to join and try to make 4chan the exact same as Chambers and Twitter.

It is okay for 4chan to change it's not the same website that it was in 2003 and that's okay. Autistic people need a place to go and I'm not going to let the Twitter Bnai join and ruin it for us.

It is not the real anons that are killing 4chan. I am glad to see the amount of niggers and faggots and shill decrease. I'm glad to see the amount of spam decrease. I'm glad that I can log back on and see that most of the content is actually quality content.

If you don't like the change that often comes to 4chan then you have two options. Option one is that you leave and you can join a similar community on another website. Chambers, Twitter and Instagram are all bumper stickers and the content truly reflects that. That is what you want right? No then fuck off and never come back.

Or you could do your part and help keep the quality and help to make sure that 4chan stays the way that it is.

The real anons try to do their part. I still see many threads helping people out and overall the community of 4chan is much better than it ever has. I have met so many great people on this website. I've met some of my closest friends on here and I'm sure a lot of you have.

Saying 4chan is dead is just another way of saying Chambers and Twitter are better. No they are not and if you actually liked 4chan then you would agree. If you're going to join a site just to spam chambers and twitter bumper stickers and call yourself an "Anon" then you are of no value. You will never actually be part of the 4chan community.

The community is a great place and I have always been happy to be apart of it. If you disagree then you truly are a fucking idiot. I don't care how long you have been here. If you join and say 4chan is dead, you are a fucking idiot and should kill yourself or never come back.

Many things about 4chan have achieved and many more things will be achieved. We still have a long way to go before we are where we need to be. But I'm happy to be on this journey and I will probably be here for a long time.
