What in the world just happened?

The last 18 months have seen:<br><br>* The economy come to a standstill and virtually every public facing business shut its doors<br>* Unemployment skyrocket to 15%+<br>* Riots over police brutality <br>* A contentious presidential election with tens of thousands of uncounted votes in several states<br>* 5 people die in a riot at the US Capitol<br>* A new president is sworn in<br>* Texas and California had massive power outages due to cold and heat<br>* Thousands of people continue to die every day from COVID<br>* Vaccines were developed in record time<br>* Billions of dollars were printed and handed out in stimulus<br><br>I don't think since the end of WWII have we seen so many huge events happen in such a short timeframe. What the actual hell is going on in the world?
