My girlfriend is pregnant and I heard my family is talking about calling her a "Thug Chick" just because she's chubby

My girlfriend is a 30 year old, 170 pound woman with brown skin and curly black hair. She's 5 months pregnant with our first child. My family are big fans of hers but I dont know if they should be calling her a "Thug Chick" even if its just a joke. I heard my uncle say "I cant wait to see your thug chick GF walk down the aisle all big and pregnant" and my sister has called her a "Thug Chick" a couple times. I dont know if they should be calling her a thug chick just because she's chubby and a darkskinned black woman. My girlfriend is a very smart woman who works as a nurse and has never been in any kind of trouble in her life. She's a very sweet and gentle soul and thats not really the "thug chick" vibe. I know it probably doesn't matter at the end of the day but I dont know if they should write her off as a "Thug Chick" stereotype. Do you think it matters?

Edit: I'm black if it makes a difference
