As indicated, I have two job offers on the table. I graduated last October with a degree and partial Master's degree in Psychology, and I have been earning extra money as a temporary worker in various places since graduating from high school. I have two interviews with potential employers for a job as a psychological counselor for adults with mental health issues, and I am now being offered the position at both.

The first job offer is from a group practice. They are offering me a one-year training contract with the possibility of an unlimited contract afterwards. Training means earning the same salary as temporary workers, which is about 1800 euros. The job is 75% full-time, so I would earn about 1350 euros a month. After the training period, I would earn about 2600 euros per month, also 75% full-time. Training means attending several seminars, visits and other training days, which are all fully paid for, and I can expect to work about two days a week in the practice itself. They have a very structured training plan and a mentor for a year.

The second job offer is from a private practice that also offers counseling for adults. They are also offering a one-year training contract with the possibility of an unlimited contract afterwards. For the training contract, they are offering 1700 euros per month, also 75% full-time. This practice is also offering several training days and seminars, but not as many as the group practice, and I can expect to work about three days a week in the practice and accompany all the other employees on the job. After the training period, I can expect about 2800 euros for 75% full-time.

The main difference between the two practices is that the group practice is more focused on treating patients with trauma, anxiety disorders and other issues, whereas the private practice is also focused on coaching and promoting personal development, which I think is really cool. The private practice is also much more flexible, and I can expect to work from home one day a week, which I really appreciate because I have to take care of my cat. The group practice is very structured, and I would have to work in the office every day for the training period. In the private practice, I am also much more free to pursue my own interests, whereas the group practice has a very rigid training plan.

The job security in the group practice is much better, and I can expect an unlimited contract afterwards. The private practice has had some trouble finding new patients, so they have not offered an unlimited contract yet, but they are very optimistic that they will be able to offer it afterwards. They want to check the financial situation of the practice at the end of the training contract before offering an unlimited contract.

I am really torn because the job in the private practice seems to fit my interests much better, and I can expect much more flexibility and work-life balance, but the job security in the group practice is much better, and they are offering a much more structured training plan. I'm 22, so I don't have any other job experience in this field, and I'm worried that I'll take the job in the private practice and then they won't have any money for an unlimited contract.

I would be very grateful if you could help me decide. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has already worked as a psychological counselor, so I have to ask strangers on the internet.

Sorry for all the typos, English is not my first language.
