Any male person who thinks marriage is a good idea is mentally ill

I told a coworker I’m not settling down and I’m not gonna jump into a marriage, and he said he wishes he would have done the same, but he married young. He even said he wishes he could be in my shoes to be single and mobile but he can’t because his wife will likely take everything and he’ll end up on the streets. I told him he needs to go back to therapy because his mental health isn’t doing good. He even said he feels like he should have never come home from the navy.
