So, you wake up, the news is nonstop talking about the damage and inconvenience caused by a global-scale earthquake.

Even if the scale of it all hit you, it would be impossible to imagine what it feels like in person. Seeing it on tv is pretty stark, but it's nothing compared to the devastation you'd be witnessing here. Thousands of buildings utterly ruined. People homeless, because if they're lucky enough to be alive, they don't have a home to come back to. Thousands of people trapped under the rubble, waiting for help to come, which might come too late anyway. Seeing buildings that used to be home for someone, reduced to mere rubble.

The news hit me hard, seeing how the situation is going. Turkey and Syria are both suffering from this, and just seeing the rescuers from all these countries around the world come here hit me.

So let's get to the topic. How do you think the world as we know it would change if every country was hit by an earthquake of this magnitude overnight?
