Has the quality of the comments on this sub gone down?

It feels like every time I open a post, I’m bombarded with comments of the likes of “why are you learning [language]?” or “what if the man says [insert different sentence]?” or “you’ll never be able to speak like a native.” There’s a lot of unhelpful, low-quality discussion on this sub in my opinion.<br><br>I don’t think there’s anybody here that wouldn’t agree that Duolingo is the best resource for beginners. But I think a seven part post of nothing but pictures of Duolingo is overkill, and the massive amount of replies that aren’t really saying anything are unnecessary and waste space.
