My kids are being bullied at school because of our stag beetle infestation

So I thought I would share this knowledge with you all. I have 2 kids, ages 9 and 11 who usually do really well at school. The last few weeks they have been struggling with their grades and getting into fights.<br><br>My wife finally sat them down and explained to them that it's ok to talk to mommy and daddy about things that are bothering them.<br><br>My youngest said, "There are beetles everywhere! We are being called the Beetle Family." My youngest daughter started crying and said, "Mom, I wanted to be the Unicorn Girl."<br><br>Kids are usually resilient, but it turns out they are being bullied at school because other kids have been nick naming them the Beetle Kids. My sister in law posted on social media about the infestation in her house which made it's knowledge more widespread. A few of the kids at school saw it and started calling them names.<br><br>It's not just the kids at school. I've started to get hate mail from neighbors over the beetles. It's been an emotional and stressful time in my life.
