Just spent 6 weeks in Madagascar and it was great.

I arrived in Antananarivo on December 10th and left on January 22nd. I had always been intrigued by this island, having heard so many stories about its unique culture and its incredible natural diversity.<br><br>My journey was not without its challenges, but overall I was impressed by the resilience and warmth of the Malagasy people. While I encountered some petty thievery and bureaucratic frustrations, these experiences were greatly outweighed by the kindness and generosity of the people I met along the way.<br><br>The roads were indeed very rough and the infrastructure was still developing, but this only added to the sense of adventure and discovery that came with exploring this remarkable country. I even had the opportunity to try some of the local transportation options, including the famous "bush taxis."
