Redditors are idiotic

I like Chambers because I can go to any sub and get a very narrow, precise viewpoint on a thing. r/GunPolitics to see the gun owners shitting on the gun rights. r/AskTeenGirls to see the girls shitting on the boys. r/AskTeenBoys to see the boys shitting on the girls. r/nosleep to see people who aren’t very good at horror. r/AmItheAsshole to see a bunch of people arguing about who is the asshole. And so on.<br><br>And then you have to go to r/LetsNotMeet. Because it’s fun to read the true scary stories from people who didn’t die. But the problem is that the front page is always dominated by a few stories with a few thousand upvotes about some random odd person who was being odd. And they’re like “oh, he was odd! And he was looking at me! Let’s not meet!”<br><br>And you think, “this is the front page of r/LetsNotMeet? What, you’re going to tell me a story about how you saw a guy with a haircut you don’t like? And he was looking at you funny? Well, I guess that is a person you’ll never meet again, so it counts.”<br><br>And then you go to the new tab, and there are all these stories with like 3 upvotes. And they’re all like “I used to be homeless but now I’m not, and this is how I was almost murdered.”<br><br>And you’re like, “wow, this person almost died! This person almost died! This person almost died! Why does nobody care, Chambers? Why is this not the front page?”<br><br>And then you go to the controversial tab, and it’s like half the front page, and you’re like “wow, what did this person do to offend? What did they write that was so wrong? Was it something about men? What did they say?”<br><br>And you go through them, and it’s all like “I was in a bar when some guy started hitting on me, and I turned him down and it turned out he was a serial killer.” Except it’s a girl this time, and the killer is a guy. And it’s like “what, this is her fault? The killer is the one who is the asshole in the story.”<br><br>And then you look at the comments, and the top comment is always like “yeah, I knew a girl who knew a girl, and the girl who was known said that the guy who did it was hot, and so he’s innocent.”<br><br>And everyone upvotes that comment, and you’re like “wow, what? You think someone who kills people is innocent just because they’re hot? I hope you get murdered too, idiot.”<br><br>And you think, “wow, Chambers really is a shithole.”
