Why do women act like they never had any power?

If feminists weren’t lying through their teeth, as they were using their power before the suffrage movement, there wouldn’t have been a need for the suffrage movement. It would have been like me trying to start a movement for men to be allowed to vote when they already have that power. My movement wouldn’t make any sense, and it would seem incredibly dumb to see me do it.<br><br>The only men who weren’t allowed to vote were slaves and convicted felons, but they have never been considered people with power, so their lack of voting power should be seen as proof that women never lacked power as well, since they were never treated as slaves or convicted felons.<br><br>The same thing applies to equal pay. If women have always had equal or superior power, then they would have been able to create equal pay on their own. Equal pay cannot only be seen as a problem that exists because men didn’t want women to have equal pay. It would have been like viewing my lack of pay as being because my boss didn’t want me to get paid. Clearly my boss wanted to pay themselves and likely gave themselves far superior pay to anything they ever gave me. Clearly women have been paying other women far superior pay to anything they ever gave men.<br><br><br>Edit: Since it seems like some people believe women never had any power, and they were treated like (former) slaves and convicted felons, and their treatment by our laws is proof of that, then they’re screwed and should just give up. They’re not equal to us and they never will be. They don’t have equal power and they never will. They don’t deserve to be seen as equal to us and they never will. Humans who do not get equal treatment will never be treated as people with equal power. Humans who don’t have equal treatment will never be treated as equals. We’re not their equals and never will be, so we will always be the superior gender and they will always be inferior.
