ELI5: How does 5G affect the body?

I’ve always been told that 5G is bad because “have you seen how much worse 5G reception is compared to 4G?! It’s so bad because it’s so high frequency that it only goes in a straight line, and can only travel less than a mile before it gets too weak to get any reception! It can’t even go through walls half the time!”

And I’m thinking about this, and I’m like “that’s bad? That doesn’t sound right if it can’t go through a wall. It’s just bad reception because it’s a different spectrum of microwave radiation but it’s the same concept. I mean they didn’t name 5G 4G part two for no reason. It literally just has a higher frequency, like you said. But that’s it right? I thought higher frequency means it’s closer to x-ray frequency? So does that mean it’s going to go through YOUR body? Because that sounds bad”

And I’ve been wondering about that for a while, and all the 5G conspiracy theorists aren’t wrong about the “5G is bad because it’s higher frequency” thing is it? Like high frequency microwaves do travel through your body right? So wouldn’t that mean that having so many radio towers in cities broadcasting higher frequency radiation through the air won’t affect your insides/bones?
