I'm not going to let you borrow a textbook I bought to pass a class I'm also taking because you don't want to spend the money for it.

I get it. You don't want to shell out $100 for a textbook you only need for 3 months, but if you want to borrow an expensive textbook, pass it to your friend, have 20 people share one, and then give it back to me at the end of the semester, I will decline. <br><br>I'm not asking for anything in return, other than that it gets returned to me. I don't care if you get 100% or flunk the class. I don't care if the professor says that sharing is perfectly fine and you can fight it out on your own. <br><br>This is how it works. <br><br>When you ask someone for a favor, don't be shocked when there are conditions. Don't be shocked if you are turned down out of hand.<br><br>Don't come crying when your actions impair someone else.
