Landmark case in the Netherlands

A Dutch court ruled, today, that the Dutch far-right leader, Geert Wilders, is guilty of discrimination and inciting hatred.<br><br>Wilders was on trial for statements he made in 2014, pledging that the Netherlands would have fewer Moroccans if his party were in power.<br><br>He was given, a €5,000 fine. No prison time. He has said he will not pay and will appeal.<br><br>Could this happen in the United States?
